This lecture covers the foundations behind the philosophy of Kabbalah, upon which the symbolic superstructure is built. Such topics as the origins and traditions of Kabbalah across the centuries will be elaborated and, finally, the application of the spiritual teachings of Kabbalah to everyday life problems will be explained with practical examples.

Zohar, the Written Kabbalah
A 1-hour lecture followed by questions and answers.
The Zohar means ‘Radiance’, and also ‘Splendour’. In this lecture, we will discuss the origins and the mysteries of the Zohar, which is a collection books that describe the mystical aspects of the Torah. The Zohar is the foundational text of the Kabbalah and was first published in Spain in the 13th century CE by Moses de León, who attributes it to Rabbi Shimon bar Yohai (the Rashbi), a tannaitic sage of who lived in ancient Judea during the 2nd century CE.

The Meaning of Kabbalah
A 1-hour lecture followed by questions and answers.
What is Kabbalah? What is meant when we say that "the Kabbalah teaches..." or "in the mystical teachings of Kabbalah...".
Using a composite glyph called the Tree of Life, the Kabbalist is able to discern and realise the greater spiritual realities that lie beyond the normal sphere of consciousness and thereby attain to a deeper meaning to life.

From Outer Court to Inner Temple
A 1-hour lecture followed by questions and answers.
A deeply personal and humbling experience.
The Outer Court refers to the temple that Ezikiel saw in his vision. In the desert Tabernacle of Moses, the Outer Court was an oblong enclosure of curtains supported on pillars with the entrance on the eastern side. Inside the Outer Court was a bronze altar of sacrifice and, in the western part of the Outer Court was the Tabernacle or Inner Temple. The journey from Outer Court to Inner Temple symbolises the journey of turning inwards, to connect with the Higher Self, dwelling in Tiphareth.

Trees Within Trees
A 1-hour lecture followed by questions and answers.
This lecture explains the doctrine of Trees Within Trees, the reason how Kabbalah embraces the whole of Life, both manifest and unmanifest.
Within each Sephirah of the Tree of Life is another complete Tree and, in each Sephirah of that Tree is another complete Tree, and this is repeated ad infinitum.
From this, the Tree of Life encompasses every aspect of the Cosmos, from the infinite vastness of the Unmanifest and the Manifest Multiverse, down to the infinitely tiny worlds of sub-atomic particles and beyond, revealing the profound depths of the Kabbalah.

From Malkuth to Tiphareth
A 1-hour lecture followed by questions and answers.
The aim of a Kabbalistic Teacher is to bring the seeker’s understanding to the level of Tiphareth, the Centre of the Tree of Life. Once there, the Teacher disappears, for the student has no further need. The student is now in touch with the Higher Self, who in turn, becomes his or her Spiritual Master.
It is for this reason that our study courses have been designed around this long and winding Path that has begun in Malkuth and finishes in Tiphareth. |

Cosmology and Kabbalah
A 1-hour lecture followed by questions and answers.
Cosmology is a branch of astrophysics that seeks to model the origin, evolution and future of the physical universe as a whole. Applying Kabbalah and the Tree of Life to interpret the concepts of Cosmology works both ways.
Cosmology in turn explains the deeper meaning of Kabbalah in the creation and evolution of the Universe.

The Veils of Negative Existence
A 1-hour lecture followed by questions and answers.
The Number Zero of Nothingness. And yet, the Unmanifest focuses a single point, the Cause of All Causes, the Number One, Kether the Crown.
The Cosmic Doctrine describes the Three Veils as “movements” of “space”. This moving space flows along three rotating rings, defining an infinitely vast sphere that encompasses all existence.
In the absolute stillness, at the centre of this vast “sphere of space”, Kether appears out of nothing.

Existence Precedes Essence
A 1-hour lecture followed by questions and answers.
"What do we mean by saying that existence pre- cedes essence? We mean that man first of all exists, encounters himself, surges up in the world, and defines himself afterwards. Man simply is.
Not that he is simply what he conceives himself to be, but he is what he wills, and as he conceives himself after already existing - as he wills to be after that leap towards existence. Man is nothing else but that which he makes of himself. That is the first principle of existentialism". Jean-Paul Sartre
